This ball bearing is a self-aligning solution designed to accommodate shaft misalignment and support rotating assemblies in industrial machinery. It features a tapered bore and open ends, allowing straightforward mounting on shafts and integration into housings where alignment compensation is required.
Features and Benefits
- 2-row design delivers increased load distribution for higher carrying capacity
CN internal clearance permits controlled axial and radial play during operation
63.7kN dynamic load rating supports heavy-duty rotating loads
20kN static load rating resists deformation under stationary loads
Sheet-metal cage reduces mass while maintaining ball guidance
Steel balls provide wear-resistant rolling elements for continuous operation
Applications
- Suitable for tapered shafts requiring alignment compensation
Used with rotating housings in agricultural equipment
Ideal for conveyor systems with variable shaft alignment
Can be used for gearboxes needing radial and axial accommodation
Used for industrial drives operating at elevated speeds
What is the maximum recommended rotational speed?
The bearing is rated for operation up to 8500 r/min based on limiting speed.
How is the bearing mounted on a shaft with a conical seating?
The bore is tapered to accept matching tapered sleeves or hubs for secure axial positioning.
How does the open-end configuration affect maintenance?
Open ends permit Visual inspection of rolling elements and facilitate re-lubrication access.
What materials are used for the rolling elements and cage?
The balls are steel and the cage is formed from sheet metal.
What outside and inside diameters define the unit envelope?
The external diameter is 110 mm and the internal bore measures 50 mm.
Selection guidance
- Review the manufacturer specifications for compatibility with your equipment.
- Confirm the required dimensions and fitting arrangement before ordering.
- Check the intended operating conditions against the product documentation.
