It reduces rotational friction and noise by keeping moving parts separate. The unit's optimised design and surface finish combine to promote lubricant film formation, which contributes to a long service life and makes this a low-maintenance choice. As the inner and outer rings are separable and interchangeable, the bearing is easy to mount, dismount and inspect. You can adjust this component against a second tapered roller bearing and apply a preload to achieve a rigid bearing application.

Parallel bore type

Compact structure

High precision

Inside diameter of 140 mm

Outside diameter of 250 mm

Race width of 45.75 mm

Application Information

Electric motors

Fans

Gearboxes

Pump applications

When should I use a tapered roller bearing?

There are various types of roller bearings, including cylinder, needle, spherical and tapered types. A tapered roller bearing should be used when you need to accommodate combined axial and radial loads. This type of bearing also produces low friction, so it keeps operating temperatures low and allows for a smooth motion.
