This SKF tachometer is the answer. When pointed at a moving component from a distance of 25 to 1,200mm, this nifty device uses a laser to read speeds between 1 and 99,999rpm. You can also take readings by attaching an adapter cone and then pressing it directly against the turning part, so it's suitable for various setups. As it withstands temperatures from 0°C to +40°C, you can even use it in hot situations.

Easy-to-read LCD allows for quick reading of measurements

Rotational or linear speed options make it a highly flexible piece of kit

IP40ratingshowsit'sprotected from toolsand small wires larger than 1mm

Automatic switch-off saves energy and ensures a longer battery life

Applications

Aviation sector

Automotive industry

Marine engineering

Medical equipment

The SKF multi-functional digital tachometer that uses laser or contact measurement to determine rotational and linear speeds.
