Try this self-aligning option from SKF. Thanks to a spherical raceway in the outer ring, the balls can move sideways as well as rotationally, so the inner ring can swivel against the outer when needed. This gives it a bit of wiggle room if the shaft is likely to deflect while your equipment is running. The open-ended design means there's no shield or sealant on either side of this component. As a result, it's best suited to closed systems where lubricant can flow freely and keep the rolling parts well-greased for optimum performance.

Features & Benefits

1.6kg weight keeps strain on your system to a minimum

Maximum speed of 7500r/min is handy for high-velocity settings

Hefty 50.7kN dynamic load rating and 18kN static load rating means it stands up to heavy-duty use

Non-metallic cage stabilises the balls for improved efficiency

Tapered bore design makes installation a breeze

Applications

Gearboxes

Final drive transmissions

Vehicle differentials

What's this ball bearing made of?

For durability and resistance to corrosion, this assembly is constructed from bearing steel.
