Its optimised design helps to increase load-carrying capacity. The tapered rollers are inclined at an angle toward the bearing's axis. This means that force from radial loads is channelled to help resist axial shocks. Part of the upgraded SKF Explorer range, this bearing's robust build quality ensures a long service life with reduced need for maintenance.

Tapered bore type for radial and axial loads

Compact structure

High precision and accommodation of angular misalignment

Inside diameter of 90 mm

Outside diameter of 155 mm

Race width of 24.5 mm

Application Information

Industrial fans

Wind turbines

Mineral processing

Cement manufacture

Why does this spherical roller bearing have a tapered bore?

The tapered bore design in this bearing means the rollers are set at an angle, meeting at the bearing's axis.
