It's designed with open flanges, so it can transmit axial loads to some extent. This means it can handle accidental shaft displacements and misalignments. The bearing's advanced surface profile design maximises efficiency by lowering friction and preventing heat damage and expansion. The logarithmic profile also reduces stress around the bearing edges stress, providing a long service life.

High load capacity with high speed tolerance thanks to cylindrical roller bearing set-up

Tapered bore support thrust and radial loads at the same time

Compact size with a race width of 38 mm

Application Information

Engine rocker arms

Gearboxes and transmission systems

Construction equipment

What type of cage does this bearing use?

This bearing has a brass cage with a maximum operating temperature of +250°C, so it can tolerate a high amount of friction heat. Brass also resists corrosion, so it's safe for use with most common bearing lubricants, including synthetic oils and greases, and can be cleaned using organic solvents.

How do I mount this cylindrical roller bearing?

You can install this cylindrical bearing using the hot-mounting method.
