Its self-aligning design handles misalignment between the shaft and the housing without causing friction or suffering damage. As the unit carries a dynamic load of up to 433kN and a static load up to 490kN at a maximum of 3400rpm, it's ideal for managing very heavy loads and high speeds. This bearing can be used in a modular system, so it lets you create a bespoke setup to suit your needs.

Open type design means you can grease the bearing without dismantling it

Steel cage material is corrosion-resistant and withstands the wear and impact experienced in demanding industrial settings

Applications

Aviation industry

Automotive production

Manufacturing facilities

What's the difference between spherical roller bearings and cylindrical roller bearings?

Spherical roller bearings have two rings on their inner raceway to accommodate thrust loads. Cylindrical roller bearings handle limited thrust and are better suited to heavy radial loads at high speeds.

When would I need a tapered bore bearing?

A tapered bore bearing like this one reduces friction, which keeps heat to a minimum.
