It's a versatile solution where oscillation might result in misalignment. Spherical bearings are often preferred to roller bearings as they provide the necessary capacity for correcting misalignments. This one offers a dynamic load rating of 280 kN (kilonewtons) and a static load rating of 465 kN, equal to almost 63,000 lbf (pound-force). Secure triple-lip Seals give reliable dustproof and waterproof performance so you GET a longer, more dependable service life.

Dry lubrication for sliding contact means less lubricant is needed, reducing impact on environment

Bore size of 40mm and outside diameter of 62mm with steel construction for maximum strength

State-of-the-art design ensures high operational reliability

Applications

Agricultural industry

Turbines and wind energy production

Metals and mining operations

I need a versatile and forgiving bearing that'll minimise maintenance. Does this fit the bill?

Yes, this spherical bearing gives you the versatility you're looking for with little maintenance. It'll accommodate the deformation of surrounding components in operation, such as a shaft deflection, so when one part isn't perfect, the entire system doesn't break down. It also provides the kind of wide manufacturing tolerances that are sometimes found in less resource-intensive, welded assemblies.

https://tiedex.co.uk/ja/products/skf-ge-40-txe-2ls-40mm-bore-spherical-bearing-465000-n-62-mm-od_ge-40-txe-2ls
