Use this bearing unit to balance shaft movement in your food-production machinery. The stainless-steel housing is sealed and corrosion-resistant to protect the unit's mechanism. It prevents any dust and other abrasive particles from getting in, to keep the unit running smoothly. A limiting speed of 700r/min (rotations per minute) means this device works efficiently in low-powered to mid-powered applications. This blue-coloured flange bearing unit is from the SKF food line and is designed with a convex outer ring and an extended inner ring to make installation simple.

  • 155mm length with two mount holes for secure installation
  • Depth of 92mm allows the inner bearing to fit snugly when mounted
  • Vibration-resistant housing means it produces very little noise

Applications

  • Distilleries
  • Food packaging
  • Cooling equipment
  • Industrial mixers

How is this flange bearing unit sealed?

This bearing unit has safeguarding seals in both the outer and inner components. The outer ring has a flinger that acts as a barrier to intruding particles, and the internal bearing has a series of grooves or gutters that block caustic substances like cleaning products. This innovative design helps prevent contaminants using very low energy.
