This thrust ball bearing from SKF is able to provide a high load-carrying capacity for axial thrust in one direction. It's suitable for use where there's no radial load to accommodate and will prevent the shaft from drifting in the axial direction. It effectively transfers thrust loads applied onto the shaft. The bearing is made of steel and meets both British and EU electrostatic discharge standards, meaning it won't cause damage to equipment through electrostatic discharge. Thrust bearings of this kind, which work in a single direction, are commonly used in demanding automotive, marine and aerospace applications.
