This straight nipple fitting provides a direct hose-to-thread connection for hydraulic and fluid systems. It is intended for installations requiring a male‑threaded Interface to a hose with a 22mm internal bore. The fitting is suitable for industrial environments where a robust metal connector is required and conforms to G‑threading practice with an M16 x 1.5 male thread form.
Features and Benefits
- Chromium‑molybdenum construction resists mechanical wear
Male G‑thread enables secure screw‑in connection
Compatible with hoses having a 22mm inside diameter
M16 x 1.5 thread pitch supports standardised interfacing
Straight design minimises flow disruption in line
Applications
- Suitable for hydraulic hose assemblies in automation equipment
Ideal for mechanical plant requiring threaded hose adaptors
Used with industrial fluid‑transfer lines in electrical enclosures
Can be used for maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic test rigs
What material characteristics affect longevity in harsh conditions?
The body is MADE from chromium‑molybdenum steel, which offers elevated tensile strength and improved resistance to fatigue compared with common carbon steels.
Which thread orientation should I expect when fitting into a port?
It uses a male thread in G standard form with M16 x 1.5 dimensions, intended to mate with corresponding female G‑threaded ports.
How does the connector Interface with hose assemblies?
The nipple is designed to insert into hoses with a 22mm internal diameter, providing a direct, straight coupling for hose clamps or crimped ferrules as appropriate.
Is this suitable for use in high‑pressure hydraulic circuits?
The material choice and straight nipple geometry are appropriate for demanding industrial hydraulic applications where a solid male‑threaded hose adaptor is required.
Selection guidance
- Review the manufacturer specifications for compatibility with your equipment.
- Confirm the required dimensions and fitting arrangement before ordering.
- Check the intended operating conditions against the product documentation.
