Modern additions are wider hands and Lumibrite for high legibility even in dark water, with 200 metre water-resistance and anti-reflection coated sapphire crystal glass for strength and durability. Zaratsu polishing on the case side is an eye-catching finish. This watch shape is nicknamed by Seiko fans as a 'Samurai' - because of its angular shaped design which looks as if it were sliced by a Japanese Samurai sword.
