This spherical roller bearing from SKF is an ideal solution for accommodating both radial (perpendicular) and axial (thrust) loads. The roller bearing features two rows of symmetrical rollers that self-adjust to evenly distribute the load, so there's no need to worry about misalignment between the shaft and the housing. It contains three lubrication holes to make greasing simple, as well as a separable design for more convenient mounting. This model has a high C3 radial internal clearance, which makes it suitable for heavy-duty applications where heat expansion is likely.

  • Bore type creates larger contact area to support heavy loads
  • Hardened steel rings and washers for corrosion resistance and a long service life
  • Greater-than-normal internal clearance for high speeds and temperatures
  • Double row design for high axial and radial load capacities
  • Tapered bore options for less friction, heat and wear

Application Information

  • Wind turbine main shafts
  • Vibrating or high-speed applications
  • Industrial gear boxes

How much maintenance does this roller bearing require?

This roller bearing is a low-maintenance option thanks to its ability to accommodate misalignment. It's also simple to lubricate, so you can carry out regular greasing to ensure the bearing operates to its highest standard.
