When you need a reliable bearing to accommodate an axial thrust in one direction, try this thrust ball bearing from SKF. It's designed to transfer thrust loads applied on the shaft and prevent the shaft from drifting in the axial direction. It's constructed from durable bearing steel which ensures low-friction operation and a long service life. As it meets both British and EU electrostatic discharge standards, you can be assured of its safety. Single direction thrust bearings of this kind are suitable for use where there's no radial force applied. You'll find them commonly used in the automotive, marine and aerospace industries.

  • Open end type
  • Inside diameter of 160 mm
  • Outside diameter of 200 mm
  • Race width of 31 mm

Application Information

  • Gearboxes and clutches

When should I use a single direction thrust bearing?

Single direction thrust bearings can be used wherever a high axial load capacity is needed, but there's no radial force to accommodate. They're often found in cars, machine tools and industrial equipment.
