When your high-speed machinery needs a high degree of accuracy and resilience, choose this angular ball bearing from SKF. It's designed to accommodate a load at an angle to the bearing axis and can handle a combination of radial and axial loads acting at the same time. As the contact angle increases, so does the bearing's axial load carrying capacity. That means it is the ideal ball bearing for supporting high axial forces.

  • Race width of 47 mm for versatile application
  • Open end type allows greasing as needed
  • Single-row design is the most widely used type, allowing versatile use
  • Cylindrical bore type is easy to fit

Application Information

  • Gearboxes and clutches in cars and other vehicles
  • Wind turbines
  • Steel mills
  • Pumps

What kind of loads can this type of angular contact bearing support?

Angular contact bearings from SKF are able to support heavy thrust loads as well as moderate radial loads.

How do I find the contact angle?

The contact angle consists of two intersecting lines – one measured from the point of contact between the ball and the ring and the other reaching out from the axis of rotation to the bearing.
