Want to keep an eye on rotating parts? Track the spin speed of your industrial equipment with this tachometer from SKF. It monitors your machine's crankshaft to give a precise picture of its angular velocity for easy maintenance. The backlit colour screen displays your readouts so you can take appropriate action, while the user-friendly button-operated control allows for fast configuration. Thanks to dimensions of 295 (L) x 70 (W) x 38mm (D) and a 270g weight, the tachometer fits neatly into your palm for one-hand operation. This multitasker not only takes optical and contact measurements but also linear and rotational speeds, with distances thrown in for good measure.

Features & Benefits

  • ABS housing is durable and resists impact, making it suitable for use in harsh environments
  • Powered by two AA batteries, appropriate for wireless operations
  • Integrated direct selector switches for easy operation
  • Auto-off function saves energy when the tool isn't in use
  • Accuracy of ±0.01% for rotational speed values between 1 and 99,999rpm for precise results

Applications

  • Automotive industry
  • Machine building
  • Medical devices

Is this tachometer finger-safe?

Yes, its IP40 rating tells you it's protected from objects larger than 1mm in size. This helps to keep you safe from contact with live parts, cutting the risk of electric shocks.
