Make this SKF stainless-steel ball bearing your first choice for environments where moisture is present. It has reliable anti-corrosive properties and handles both radial and axial loads. It has a single-row, deep-groove construction, which reduces friction, meaning the bearing stays cool and lasts longer. Thanks to its machined brass cage, it offers high rigidity and strength, so it's an effective choice for demanding environments. It keeps its dimensional stability and functions efficiently in temperatures up to +120°C.
- Easy to mount
- Low maintenance for reduced machine downtime
- Low noise levels and vibration, thanks to minimal friction levels
- High resistance to abrasive chemicals for an extended service life
Application Information
- Chemical and hydrocarbon processing
- Medical equipment
- Printing industry
Where would I use this kind of ball bearing?
Deep-groove ball bearings are versatile components suited to machinery with rapidly rotating parts. You'll find them in heavy industry, for example in the energy sector.
Why is a bearing's cage material important?
A bearing's cage is mechanically stressed during operation by friction, impact and centrifugal and inertial forces. It can also be affected by solvents, coolants and lubricants. This means that the material used for the cage can have an influence on the suitability of a bearing for a particular application.
