Need a ball bearing that manages radial and axial load? This angular contact option from SKF has a 105 mm inner raceway and a 225 mm outer raceway. These are displaced relative to each other, which means the unit can support a radial load and an axial load acting simultaneously. As the contact angle increases, so does the axial load carrying capacity of the ball bearing. Angular contact bearings of this kind are ideal for use in high-speed applications such as gearboxes, pumps and electric motors.

  • Limiting speed of 4800 r/min makes it suitable for high-speed applications
  • Mass bearing of 8.55 kg means it can handle light tasks as well as heavy-duty jobs
  • Features a cylindrical bore that fits directly onto the shaft

Application Information

  • Machine tooling
  • Steel mills
  • Wind energy industry, including turbines

When should I use an angular contact bearing?

Angular contact bearings are the ideal option when you need a durable part for machinery that demands a high degree of accuracy. Examples of applications that typically use this type of bearings are centrifuges, machine tool spindles and vacuum pumps.
