Need a bearing that can deal with shaft misalignment? This SKF plain bearing will see you right. The inside of its outer ring is curved to complement the shape of its inner ring, so the surfaces slide smoothly against each other without friction. Thanks to this handy setup, when you place a shaft through the inner ring, the bearing can compensate for alignment that's slightly off. It also smooths out tilting or skewing motions. As this unit can withstand loads in the radial and combined radial and axial directions, it's a versatile component for complex applications.

Features & Benefits

  • Steel outer ring is durable so it's suitable for heavy-duty applications
  • Sealed on both sides to prevent contamination, for reduced maintenance and a long service life
  • Basic dynamic load rating of 240kN, so it bears up under pressure

Applications

  • Vehicle suspension systems
  • Robotics and factory automation
  • Engines and motors

What load can this bearing handle while stationary?

This unit can handle loads up to 480kN while stationary, so it's ideal for demanding industrial applications.
