This seal is a hydraulic sealing component designed to contain fluid and prevent leakage within pressurised systems. It is manufactured from polyurethane and intended for use where a resilient elastomeric barrier is required between moving or stationary surfaces in hydraulic equipment.
Features and Benefits
- Polyurethane construction provides high wear resistance for extended service life
6.3mm thickness offers robust compression stability under load
Hydraulic sealing profile reduces fluid bypass during reciprocation
Compatible with common hydraulic media for consistent performance
Applications
- Suitable for rod sealing in hydraulic actuators
Used with cylinder assemblies requiring resilient Seals
Ideal for replacement of worn hydraulic Seals in maintenance
Can be used for piston sealing where elastomeric contact is needed
What material properties affect abrasion performance?
The polyurethane composition gives enhanced resistance to surface wear and maintains sealing contact under sliding motion.
How does thickness influence sealing behaviour?
The 6.3mm cross-section delivers dimensional stability and helps maintain sealing force under cyclical compression.
Which Interface dimensions determine fitment in a bore?
Fitment depends on the internal and external diameters which set radial clearance for installation.
How are inner and outer diameters used during installation?
The inner diameter locates on the shaft while the outer diameter engages the housing bore to form the seal.
Selection guidance
- Review the manufacturer specifications for compatibility with your equipment.
- Confirm the required dimensions and fitting arrangement before ordering.
- Check the intended operating conditions against the product documentation.
