Looking for a reliable ball bearing to use in food production or a wet environment? This deep-groove bearing from SKF fits the bill. It's fully food-safety compliant and, as it's sealed, can come into contact with foodstuffs without the risk of leaking grease. The tough and durable stainless-steel race and cage resist corrosion, so won't degrade when exposed to moisture or raw ingredients. As it can accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions, this is a versatile unit suited to demanding industrial use.
- Blue nitrile rubber seals make it easy to identify visually
- Pre-lubricated with high-quality grease certified as category H1, meaning safe for incidental food contact
- Parallel bore means it can be mounted directly onto the shaft
Applications
- Bottling lines
- Industrial ovens
- Factory mixers
Are stainless steel bearings the strongest?
Stainless steel bearings have a lower load-carrying capacity than the same-sized bearings made of high-chromium steel.
What's a deep-groove ball bearing?
A deep-groove ball bearing is made up of an inner ring and outer rings, along with a cage and balls. It has a smooth raceway groove for precision movement. It's the most popular type of bearing because of its versatility and ability to accommodate high radial and axial loads.
