This bearing unit from SKF is specifically designed for use in the food industry. Its food-compatible components help you comply with safety regulations and reduce problems, such as corrosion and premature bearing failure, that are associated with regular wash-downs. The unit handles moderate initial misalignment and features a versatile design that can be adapted to suit your needs. A grease fitting allows for simple and convenient lubrication. Four pre-drilled mounting holes mean the bearing is supplied ready to fit and installation is simple.

  • Seal design that keeps water, detergents and other contaminants out of the bearing cavity
  • No dripping grease or purge contamination improves the unit's environmental safety when in use
  • Smooth, stainless-steel finish that's extremely strong and reduces the risk of bacteria growth on its surface

Applications

  • Agricultural machinery
  • Construction equipment
  • Textile manufacture
  • Food and beverage processing and packaging
