This INSOCOAT ball bearing from SKF has outer surfaces coated with an insulating layer of aluminium oxide, rendered to a quality finish via a plasma-spray process. This prevents currents from passing through the bearing and damaging the surfaces of the rolling elements and raceways or degrading the grease. The bearing has an inside diameter of 120 mm, an outside diameter of 260 mm and a race width of 55 mm. It can handle a load of up to 12.5 kg.
