Need housing for your deep-groove insert bearings? Try this plummer bearing housing from SKF. It secures your bearing assembly to help ensure it works effectively, has a reliably long life and needs minimal maintenance. As it’s made of robust cast iron, the unit offers corrosion resistance, withstands impacts and is extremely rigid, so you can count on it to perform in demanding industrial environments. The outer paint resists temperatures up to +80°C and the iron beneath tolerates up to +100°C, making this a safe choice for use in settings where high levels of heat are expected.

Features & Benefits

  • Modular system offers broad compatibility between housing, seals and adapters
  • Predrilled holes for mounting bolts to securely anchor your assembly to a support surface

Applications

  • Food processing and packaging

  • Industrial automation

Why's a bearing housing important?

A bearing housing isn't just protective, it also helps to anchor your bearing assembly in place. This stable mounting is crucial for achieving the smooth radial and axial movements from your bearings needed for efficient performance from industrial applications.
