This tapered bearing sleeve from SKF lets you set the position of your tapered bore bearing on a cylindrical shaft. It's an important part of high-speed bearing systems, which rely on precise positioning to ensure proper operation. This sleeve helps to minimise vibrations and noise, reducing the risk of damage to your equipment and keeping your workspace quiet. As it's suitable for both plain and stepped shafts, it's a highly versatile choice that can be used for a variety of industrial applications.

  • Built-in oil supply duct for fast and simple lubrication and maintenance
  • Supplied with a lock nut and locking device for a firm hold and simple installation

Application Information

  • Textile production
  • Printing
  • Paper manufacturing

How do I mount this bearing sleeve on a shaft?

When mounting this sleeve on a plain shaft, simply locate the bearing at the desired position and secure it in place with a lock nut and locking device. Use an L-shaped spacer ring on stepped shafts to set the bearing axially, as this allows for greater ease of mounting.
