Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioning has made a giant leap forward in air conditioning and heat pump technology, with the development of high performance FDTC compact cassette R32 refrigerant range. The Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioning mini split cassette units are ideal for commercial application such as offices, shops, meeting rooms, restaurants, hotels, clubs, gyms, and open plan areas. The Advanced FDTC Cassette range has now been extended to include new small
capacity inverter heat pump systems starting at 1.8kW/2.0kW, and an extra high capacity system 6kW at the top end. (figures stated are for cooling/heating performance. 7-Day Programmable Timer now included in standard controls specification. The efficiency and CoP (Coefficient of Performance) has been dramatically increased up to 4 on some models. This means the system can deliver 4kW of heating or cooling, whilst consuming only 1.0kW of electrical power. This has been achieved by combining advanced Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioning inverter technology with environmentally friendly R32 refrigerant. The improved air flow pattern through the unit and the new design high performance heat exchanger have resulted in a pressure loss reduction, allowing the fan design to be optimised for significantly lower sound levels. The air discharge louver has been modified to minimise air smudging on the ceiling adjacent to the
air outlets.
