HY2000Si is a 2.2kW recoil start digital inverter generator and firm fixture in the Hyundai Power Equipment line-up An easy-to-start unit, and a larger equivalent of the HY1000Si, it produces a maximum of 2kW clean and smooth power. Because of the suitcase-style nature of the generator, it is a stylish and compact alternative to typical open frame generators, and the efficient and quiet running of the unit make it an all-round ideal unit for any discerning caravan user or motor-home enthusiast who require power on the move. Part of a range of some of the most reliable generators in its class, the HY2000Si is powered by the HX125, a four-stroke 4.9hp recoil start petrol engine. Just as the rest of the Hyundai digital inverter range, it is an economic generator, again using an 'ECO' setting designed to lower the engine
revs when only requiring a small amount of power. This in turn leads to a lower fuel consumption because the engine is working less, and also lowers the noise level of the generator. On the HY2000Si, the control panel features two UK 3-pin sockets for plugging into directly. Because of the inverter technology in this generator, the electrical output is a pure sine wave, mimicking perfectly mains supply to produce a clean 230v output. There is a 12v DC battery charging outlet on the control panel as well, so it has a range of different options for powering a wide variety of items.
