When an axle needs propping up, lean on this pillow block bearing from SKF. Combining a metal stand and a ball bearing, it helps to hold up shafts and aids their continuous rotation in both directions. Designed with a limiting speed of 2800r/min, it's handy for applications such as conveyors, cranes and fans. The stand has cast iron construction, giving it a high compression strength and effective abrasion resistance. This also lets it absorb energy and dampen vibrations.

Features & Benefits

  • Boltholes on the housing make it easy to mount on surfaces
  • Comes as a complete unit to minimise assembly time
  • Seals and flingers on both sides to keep contaminants out
  • Inner ring extends out of the housing to bolster support, holding dynamic loads up to 30.7kN

Applications

  • HVAC systems
  • Assembly lines
  • Agricultural machinery
  • Waste management plants

Is this pillow block bearing already lubricated?

Yes, the unit comes pre-greased to speed up your installation. A relubrication hole means you can top this up as necessary to keep your machines turning freely.
