This plummer Block housing provides a robust bearing housing solution for rotating shafts in industrial equipment, delivering stable support and alignment for cylindrical bore bearings with a 70mm bore in demanding mechanical and automation contexts.
Features and Benefits
- Cast iron construction offers Durable structural support
Dynamic load rating of 62.4 kN enables sustained operational loading
Static load rating of 45 kN resists Peak and shock loads
Limiting speed 2,800 r/min suits moderate-speed driven shafts
Two-bolt fixing with 20mm bolts ensures secure mounting
RoHS compliance permits use in regulated electronic assemblies
Applications
- Suitable for conveyor drive systems in manufacturing lines
Ideal for motor shaft support in automation equipment
Used with gearboxes in material handling installations
Can be used for pump shaft mounting in electrical plants
Suitable for test rigs in mechanical development labs
What shaft size does it accommodate?
It accepts shafts sized for a 70mm inside diameter bearing seating to match cylindrical bore components.
How does the housing mount to equipment frames?
Fixing is achieved via two bolts through 20mm holes with centres spaced at 210mm for secure attachment.
What operating speeds are appropriate?
The housing is specified for use up to a limiting speed of 2,800 r/min, making it suitable for moderate-speed applications.
How does the unit perform under axial and shock loads?
The static load capacity is 45 kN for resisting Peak loads, while a dynamic rating of 62.4 kN defines its continuous load capability.
What are the envelope dimensions to consider for installation?
The housing presents an overall height of 155.5mm and a length of 266mm with a depth of 72mm for space planning.
