The ceramic Big Green Egg charcoal barbecue combines age-old know-how and state-of-the-art technology to offer incredible strength, durability and heat insulation. Large enough for family barbecues, this Big Green Egg creates powerful flavours, has excellent temperature control and moisture saturation for tender cooking.

This version comes with a metal stand or 'nest', with the Egg sitting perfectly in the middle, plus an adjoining acacia wood expansion table for food preparation. Both stands have handy shelves underneath for barbecue equipment. The stands have caster wheels for easy moving and wheel locks to secure them into position. The included cover gives protection when the Egg and table are not in use.

This Egg comes with a ConvEGGtor, a clever ceramic insert that turns your Egg into a convection oven, for baking, slow-cooking, smoking and roasting outdoors. The three-legged design stimulates heat circulation around the Egg, just like a convection oven, without exposing food to the direct heat of the fire burning below. Use the ConvEGGtor with the legs down and it's compatible with the Big Green Egg Baking Stone on top for pizzas, plancha cooking and baking. With the legs up, it's compatible with a Big Green Egg Stainless Steel Grid on top for roasting and slow-cooking.

The Egg reaches cooking temperature within minutes. Its patented airflow control allows you to achieve the right temperature to within a few degrees and maintain it with accuracy. This makes it ideal for a host of cooking tasks, from grilling bangers and burgers to smoking ribs, cooking pizzas or even roasting chickens and turkeys.

The exceptionally well-insulated ceramic Egg doesn't get as hot as traditional metal barbecues, meaning it's safer to use, especially if you have children around. To top it off, the shell is finished with a lifetime-guaranteed glaze in stylish British Racing Green and wipes clean with ease. Inside, residual heat burns away any leftover grease, just like a self-cleaning oven.
