The details
The DD8L Pro isn't just a dehumidifier – it’s your everyday laundry shortcut. It's advanced Laundry mode combines heat, airflow, and smart automation to dry clothes faster than any other dehumidifier. Power through laundry days with the Meaco DD8L Pro desiccant dehumidifier. The automatic louvre directs airflow directly at your washing, perfect for indoor drying during damp UK winters or in unheated rooms. Enjoy faster drying times, a tidier home, and more time to focus on what matters most.
Whether you prefer full performance or minimal consumption, with the DD8L Pro you’re always in control. Switch on Smart Energy Mode and the dehumidifier will automatically adjust between low, medium, and high power depending on how far your room’s humidity is from your target setting. Stay within 5% of your chosen level and it runs quietly on low fan speed, keeping costs down. But if the humidity rises to 20% over your target, Smart Energy Mode automatically shifts into high gear for fast, powerful dehumidification. It’s smart, efficient, and always ready to adapt to your home.Prefer to take control yourself? Pick from three manual energy levels to match your priorities. Premium performance, tailored to your priorities for better air, lower bills.
Connect to the Meaco App, compatible with Google and Alexa Whether you’re at home, or managing humidity remotely for your boat, garage or second home, the DD8L Pro stays within reach. Simply connect via WiFi and monitor and control your dehumidifier from anywhere with the Meaco app. Switch modes, adjust settings, or track humidity in real time, ensuring your belongings stay dry and comfortable whether you’re in or out.
From the intelligently redesigned Chase Display that replaces confusing error codes with clear instructions, to the integrated cable tidy that allows placement flush against the wall. Every detail of the DD8L Pro has been carefully considered. The result is a cleaner look, quieter operation, and effortless usability in any room of your home.
Night Mode on the DD8L Pro turns off all display lights and sound alerts, while keeping the louvre fully open to maintain low-noise airflow. It’s engineered to run quietly in bedrooms, nurseries, or anywhere a peaceful atmosphere matters — so your nights stay as calm as your air stays dry.
Enjoy cleaner air as you dry your home. The DD8L Pro’s built-in antibacterial sterilising ioniser actively neutralises airborne bacteria, mould spores and allergens as it removes excess moisture. It doesn't just dry the air, it helps sterilise it, creating a cleaner, healthier environment for every room and everyone in it.
Free up floor space and simplify maintenance. Whether you’re drying a classic car, managing humidity in a utility room, or just short on floor space, wall-mounting the DD8L Pro makes life easier. The bracket (sold separately) lifts the unit safely out of the way, giving you more room to work and enabling continuous drainage so you can set it and forget it. These are practical upgrades for spaces that demand performance without getting in the way.
Engineered to last. Guaranteed to perform. Designed in the UK, the DD8L Pro comes with a free 3-year warranty.
