Choose this single-row deep-groove ball bearing from SKF for high-temperature applications such as kilns and commercial pizza ovens. It's fitted with an innovative coronet cage constructed from pure graphite, which releases slight amounts of powder to self-lubricate. This reduces maintenance needs as it eliminates the need for potentially messy lubricants. The raceway and other surfaces are coated in manganese phosphate, which offers reduced friction and protection against corrosion. These can be essential features in oven environments where humidity and oxidation levels can otherwise affect bearing performance.

  • Operating temperature range of -150°C to +350°C for use in extreme industrial environments
  • Dynamic load rating of 7.28kN and static load rating of 3.1kN for heavy-duty use
  • Enhanced radial clearance of C5, for very low torque and high loads
  • Supports axial and radial loads in both directions for versatility

Applications

  • Continuous baking ovens
  • Heat-treating furnaces
  • Molten glass rolling

Is this ball bearing shielded?

This bearing features two shields, one on each side, to protect against debris, dirt and other contaminants without causing any friction losses. This results in higher-performing ball bearings with reduced maintenance needs.
