Keep your kit spinning, even if the temperature ramps up, with this deep-groove ball bearing from SKF. Thanks to its generous C5 bearing clearance, it can accommodate thermal expansion, so it keeps doing the job when your equipment's running hot. This clearance also helps accommodate a fair degree of misalignment and shaft deflection, making the bearing a suitable choice for setups where alignment is difficult to maintain. As a single-row unit, it supports a heavy radial load of up to 11.9 kN, along with a degree of axial load, making it a versatile bit of kit.
Features & Benefits
- 20mm parallel bore makes it easy to mount onto a shaft with no need for a bearing sleeve
- Steel rolling parts stand up to wear to deliver a long service life
- Double-sided shielding protects the rolling parts from contamination
Applications
- Ceramics production
- Textile industry
- Metal smelting
Why choose a single-row ball bearing?
Single-row ball bearings minimise friction, helping to rotate your components efficiently. They reduce noise and vibration, making them a good option when you're looking for quiet operation. The simple design also means they're reliably long-lasting.
