This pump is a portable greasing solution designed for dispensing lubricants from drums in industrial settings. It comprises a manual pump mechanism with a handle and a drum-mounted follower plate and cover to enable continuous grease delivery. Constructed from steel, the unit is intended for use where controlled, high-pressure greasing of machinery and assemblies is required and is validated for compatibility with SKF grease formulations.
Features and Benefits
- 200cm³/min delivery rate enables consistent lubricant throughput
Steel construction provides robust service in workshop environments
Includes drum follower plate to maintain constant grease supply
High-pressure hose allows access to confined lubrication points
Swivel grease gun with extension improves reach and manoeuvrability
Applications
- Suitable for greasing bearings in automated assembly lines
Ideal for lubrication of electrical motor drive trains
Used for maintenance of mechanical gearboxes and linkages
Can be used with drum-mounted systems in plant maintenance
What components are supplied to set up with a grease drum?
The kit includes a pump with handle, a drum cover plate and a follower plate to mount inside the drum, Plus a high-pressure hose and a swivel gun with extension pipe.
Which lubricants can be used with this unit?
It has been tested and approved for use with SKF greases, ensuring material compatibility with those formulations.
How does the delivery specification affect maintenance scheduling?
The 200cm³/min flow rate provides a predictable volume per stroke for planning refill intervals and calculating grease consumption for periodic maintenance.
What feature aids access to tight lubrication points?
The supplied swivel gun with extension pipe and high-pressure hose permits targeted application in confined or hard-to-reach assemblies.
